West out of Fort Frances on Highway 11 to Ontario 613, then north to Lake Despair landing (30 miles total), The road is paved and the landing features a boat ramp. Across Despair to One Mile River brings you to Footprint lake and then north to the Jackfish narrows. Across Jackfish East to the cabin, which will be about a 6 mile trip, and normally takes about 15-20 minutes. The cabin is fairly easy to find and we will make sure you are well informed about the trip in.
